Effective Date: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Xerten.ai application, website, and related services (collectively, “Xerten” or the “Service”), provided by Xerten LLC (“Xerten,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using Xerten, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Xerten is a medication-management application designed to help individuals maintain, organize, review, and compare information about their medications.
Xerten may use technologies including barcode scanning, optical character recognition, medication databases, automated processing, and artificial intelligence to assist users with entering, identifying, organizing, and reviewing medication information.
Xerten is intended to be an informational and organizational tool. It does not replace the judgment of a physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional.
Xerten does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information provided through Xerten, including medication identifications, comparisons, reconciliation results, summaries, warnings, or other AI-generated or automated information, is provided for informational purposes only.
You should not start, stop, change, or adjust a medication based solely on information provided by Xerten.
Questions about medications, medication discrepancies, side effects, interactions, dosing, or treatment decisions should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical care.
Xerten is designed to improve the organization and accuracy of medication information, but we do not guarantee that information produced, identified, extracted, stored, displayed, compared, or generated by Xerten will always be complete or accurate.
Medication labels may be misread. Barcodes may be incorrectly identified or unavailable. Information entered by users may contain errors. Third-party databases may contain incomplete or inaccurate information. Artificial intelligence and automated systems may generate incorrect results.
Users are responsible for reviewing medication information presented by Xerten and correcting information when appropriate.
Xerten should not be treated as the sole authoritative source for making medical decisions.
Xerten uses artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to assist with medication-related tasks.
Artificial intelligence can make mistakes, including generating inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. AI-generated information should therefore be reviewed rather than assumed to be correct.
The presence of an AI-generated summary, reconciliation result, warning, or other output does not constitute review or approval by a physician, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.
Certain Xerten features require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account and to take reasonable measures to protect your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless caused by circumstances outside your reasonable control.
You may not use another person's account without authorization.
You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the medication information associated with your Xerten account.
Xerten may assist in identifying or entering medication information, but automated extraction or identification does not guarantee accuracy.
If information displayed by Xerten differs from a medication label, prescription instructions, pharmacy information, or instructions provided by a healthcare professional, you should verify the discrepancy with an appropriate healthcare professional before making medication-related decisions.
You may initiate deletion of your Xerten account from within the Xerten application.
Deleting your account will result in deletion of your account authentication information and associated personal data maintained by Xerten, including your profile information, medication records, and medication history, subject to any information we may be legally required to retain.
Account deletion may be irreversible.
Your use of Xerten is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how Xerten collects, uses, processes, and protects information.
The Privacy Policy is available on the Xerten website.
You agree not to misuse Xerten or interfere with its operation.
You may not:
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Xerten, another user's account, or systems supporting the Service.
Circumvent or attempt to defeat security measures.

Xerten relies on third-party services and technologies to provide certain functionality.
These may include cloud infrastructure, artificial-intelligence services, medication or product databases, and other technology providers.
Xerten is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, or accuracy of third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
Xerten may make beta, testing, experimental, or pre-release versions of the Service available.
Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, errors, interruptions, or features that change or are removed.
If you participate in a Xerten beta program, you acknowledge that the Service is still being tested and should not be relied upon as a substitute for established sources of medication information or professional healthcare advice.
We may modify or discontinue beta functionality at any time.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of Xerten as the Service develops.
We do not guarantee that Xerten will always be available without interruption, delay, data loss, technical failure, or error.
Where reasonably possible, we will seek to maintain the availability and integrity of the Service.
Xerten and its software, branding, designs, content, technology, and other proprietary materials are owned by Xerten LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms provide you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Xerten for its intended purposes. They do not transfer ownership of Xerten or its intellectual property to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Xerten is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Xerten LLC disclaims warranties not expressly provided in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent such disclaimers are permitted by law.
We do not warrant that Xerten will be error-free or that medication information or automated outputs will always be accurate, complete, or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Xerten LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Xerten.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We may update these Terms as Xerten develops or as legal, regulatory, technical, or business requirements change.
When material changes are made, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate.
Your continued use of Xerten after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of Xerten will be subject to applicable state and federal law and the jurisdiction of courts having authority over Xerten LLC, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
